Melbourne-based three-piece Blusher have dropped their latest single, ‘Softly Spoken’. Their sound blends euphoric pop with a chaotic, confident and unique performance. Warm, determined synths interact with each other and a punchy drum machine, providing a bed that accompanies both glittery melodic hooks and distorted vocal interjections. “A great night always begins by getting ready in your friends’ bedroom; sharing makeup, secrets and your frustrations while deciphering texts from boys,” the band explain on the visualiser that accompanies the track.
